Mr. Mohammed bin Awjan Al-Hajri graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Law from Beirut Arab University, Republic of Lebanon. He also studied at the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University, completing 52 credit hours. He worked as an Investigation Officer in the Capital Security Department, Doha, Qatar, for nearly 15 years. He served as the Head of the Investigation, Trials, and Administrative Affairs Department in the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior for 8 years. He retired – upon his request – in 2008 with the rank of Major. Since 2008 till now, he has been practicing law as a Lawyer qualified to appear before the Court of Cassation. He has also obtained specialized training courses in Anti-Money Laundering and Combatting Human Trafficking from NATO and the United Nations.
